I read the book of the never ending story and your right it is better then the movie a young man great quest is almost like that are lives are more like that the kid in the story is searching for a cure for the child like empress to protected him in his journy is the chain he has on his neck in a way were all searching for something that will guied us on are way I read the part when things don't go right the way he want's to christ is a lot more like that I mean I wanted to join the army but I can't cause of my asthma and broncides had it since birth in 83 in a way we all want and hope for things in life but the way I see it life is really short just two days ago a man was killed in Mercedes he left behined a wife and two kids he lost control and fell in the river you want to get a chopper thing going it takes time you know that but sometime in a way christ says yes and sometimes the answer is no maybe for a good reason.

Dear Noah Hathaway I hope that you are in good health But be honest it must have been tough making that movie the never ending story what you went through it is called actors boot camp riding horses climbing on rock hills and swiming through the mud boot camp I bet your glad it is all over huh your lucky that you weren't in it know cause those who make army movies had to be trained by captin dyle some old retired Marine officer who was everywhere fought in Veitnam and trained gurrila troops in south america. and also who trained the actors in the movie the great raid actual true story by the way. I mean I am not an actor I never was but the stories that my brother said when he was in the army Hollywood asks for there help Such as Pearl Harbor real sailors real soldier in the back round but only eight actors cause some recruter from the navy came to my high school he was explaining when he was in san antonio he saw a director come in to the base asking for some volenteers it is very cool after I watch a war movie I look of how they made it the actors had to go to actual boot camp on what there roll was like band of brothers black hawk down all trained by the U.S. Military I know I talk alot I like to keep up with my history from time to time. will take care Noah Hathaway and god Bless.

Hi from the Rio grand Valley I bet you never expected to be making movies i bet alot of people came up to you and shook your hand but was it really what you wanted It must of been hard waking up early in the morning the hours I woke up was 5:30am to go to work but today I'm on vacation let the others handle all the work for a while cleaning the rest rooms the docks and bussing tables getting the dishies all at the same time if it was okay I looked at your pictures in the enternet the years sure went by fast I understand that you can handle pain from time to time me so so getting a broken caller bone at the age of ten okay long gone but a foot infection for four days ouch! that is pain ful especialy when the doctor made a hole in my foot to take the puss out he was poking it. then he said does it hurt No shit excuse me I was shaking really bad I was in pain. Any way I hope you had fun making movies and all good luck on the chopper thing many blessing but take your time cause not many people do that life can be short cause right here in the valley you may never know especialy those who are serving in Iraq be patient and good luck.

Hi I guess you get tired of people telling you about the movies you use to do I can't say I blame you cause right know there is a kid in high school who can really run 3,000 yards dam that is lighning will he is not the only one who under the spot light cause back in the 1940 there was a man named Harlon Block who took the weslaco panthers to the state championship after that the hole foot ball team enlisted in the Marine corp so did Harlon he faought in Iwo Jima and was killed two days later after the flag raising you probobly heard about it and not gaved much thought of it about the six flag raisers cause Harlon Block grew up in my town Weslaco Texas you should see the statue your self I guess it is here in Harlengen Texas of the Rio grand valley a lot has changed here the city got more bigger since then but when you come here look at are museum they have Harlon Block Marine uniform and medals here. Oh and the Block family is know living in California.
